'The Great Gig in the Sky' Pink Floyd.

Soundscape assignment for Building Creativity class...
We had to capture an image that we felt best portrayed how the song made us feel.
For me, I got a sense of destruction and chaos, but on top of that there was the lingering feel of beauty and calm- likely because of the intro to the song, followed by the hectic vocals.
I must say, the song has grown on me. I'm a fan.

ANZAC Day

I was very determined to be at my first Dawn Service in the city...well my first Dawn Service ever really.
I was out in the city the night before, got home at 4:30...got changed into some cas clothes, grabbed my camera and my tripod and headed straight for the 5am tram to the Shrine of Rememberance. Got there just as it started, wasn't able to get as close as I would have liked, there were hundreds of people. It was nice to see. But I made do; got these photos as the sun was rising.
These are my two favourite shots. I would have liked to have photographed the march as well.
Next year.
It was well worth it all.
Lest we forget.
